The Grandparents Care

Support Group is comprised

mostly of grandparents raising

their grandchildren.

With the onset of technology

and new devices, these

grandparents are sharpening

and creating new life skills. This support group meets weekly.

Their meetings consist

of computer training, cooking

classes, energy-saving ideas

and just being surrounded by

other grandparents for support.

They have community service

projects that include providing

snacks for the ICU waiting rooms at Piedmont Newton Hospital.

Twice a year they provide Traveling Angel Packages.

 

These grandparents are creating stronger family bonds and helping

their grandchildren thrive!
